Greenwood School District Hires New Principal/Athletic Director

-The new High School Principal and Athletic Director was approved at the Greenwood School District?s Board Meeting on Monday.Todd Fischer was approved as the principal and athletic director for the 2013-2014 school year and he?ll start on August 1st. Mr. Fischer has 13 years of experience as a principal and athletic director. He resigned from Regis Middle/High School to join Greenwood. He?s also had principal/athletic director experience at Osseo and La Crosse.
Jennifer Vogler, Greenwood?s Suprintendent, said, ?Mr. Fischer enjoys interacting with the students on a daily basis. He has experience in all aspects for the principalship-curriculum development and review, communication skills, student discipline, scheduling, budgeting, athletic director experience, evaluating faculty members, working with all academic levels of students, developing partnerships with faculty members, community members and parents as well as several other qualities.?
Miss Vogler continued, ?Mr. Fischer understands and knows the importance of working together as a team. Mr. Fischer has had to make several decisions in his 13 years of being a principal or athletic director. He is not afraid to step up and make the difficult decisions to help our students grow academically and help our district move forward. We are pleased to welcome Mr. Todd Fischer to Greenwood!
