Plans for 63rd Granton Fall Festival Underway

-Plans for the 63rd annual Granton Fall Festival are underway, with the event scheduled for September 6th thru the 8th this year.Nominations are currently open for Honored Citizens and Honored Grandparents.
Nominations for the Honored Citizens of Granton, which is sponsored each year by the Granton Rotary Club, are to recognize outstanding community members. The Honored Citizen recipient may be an individual or a couple, who resided in the Granton area most of their life. Nomination letters highlighting what the candidates have done for the Granton area community should be submitted.
The annual flower show will also be held on Saturday, September 7, as part of the festival activities. This is the last year that the current chairperson will be running the event, so they are looking for someone to take over the show for next year.
The annual Granton Fall Festival has become a huge annual event for the Granton community and many former residents. The committee is working hard to plan another fun-filled family weekend, with this year?s theme being ?Jungle Safari?.
