Greenwood Grants Forgiveness Regarding Water Main Break

-The Greenwood City Council granted forgiveness regarding a water main break at a mobile home court.The Greenwood Creek Mobile Home Court suffered a major water break, which the department of public works determined was no fault of the park; the break was due to the heavy rains.
The council approved granting her forgiveness of paying the additional usage due to the break. The court will be billed the same gallons as last quarter.
The council also accepted Jim Horn?s resignation from the common council and approved Tracy Nelson as his replacement.
A payment request to Spring Lake in the amount of $222,516.60 for the well field project was approved.
Finally the council approved several building permits and paying the Greenwood Housing Authority Board Members $20.00 per meeting.
