BRF Fire Department Responds To Structure Fire

The Black River Falls Fire Department was called out early Saturday morning to a structure fire at the Hart Tie & Lumber Company on Winnebago Ave. in Black River Falls.Upon arrival the department had a cinder block saw dust ? wood shaving bin on fire. Saw dust ? wood shaving piles outside the bin were also burning.
The fire was reported by a neighbor to the property who noted it while taking her dog out.
The fire was under control in a little over an hour. During the overhaul phase of the fire a wall section of the bin collapsed. No firefighters were injured in the collapse or during the fire.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time and a damage estimate is not known at this time.
