Neillsville May Lose Flowers If Help Isn't Received

-The City of Neillsville needs help with their flower baskets as reported by Dave Flynn, Director of Public Works for Neillsville, during the Public Works portion of the Tuesday meeting.Flower baskets that currently line Main Street here in Neillsville cost a lot of money to have and maintain during the summer. Dave sent out letters to the public asking for donations, but only one person has responded. If they city doesn?t see some cash flow for the baskets, Neillsville could lose them.
Also during the public works, Dave mentioned the usual cleaning, maintenance, repairing and other items done the past couple weeks in Neillsville.
Chief Brad Lindner also mentioned that Officer Pokallus was hired as a detective for Neillsville. Heritage days were also discussed.
