Snyder Park Beach Open

-The Clark County Health Department and the Clark County Forestry and Parks Department have rescinded a beach closing.The Snyder Park beach was recently closed by the two departments. Routine water samples found high levels of E.coli bacteria in the water. Excessive rainfall our area has received was believed to be the cause of the increased bacteria levels and swimming was restricted to the park.
However, since then, the newest water samples show that the bacteria levels have dropped and water quality to be with in more acceptable levels.
Swimming is open again at the beach, but a water quality advisor has been posted.
