Hiring and Resignations at Recent Neillsville School Board Meeting

-Hiring and resignations were approved at the Neillsville School Board last week.The board approved the retirement of bus driver Emilie Fleischmann. They also approved the resignation of Teresa Masonick, Krystal Plomedahl and Middle School Softball Coach Matt Diestler.
James McFarland was hired for the science teacher position. Kory Poeschel was hired as the instructional facilitator for Neillsville, which is a new positon. Dewey Poeschel did recuse himself for that portion of the meeting.
Also, the hiring of Staci Karnau for the JV Volleyball Coach position was approved and Kate Mueller was hired for the C-Team Volleyball Coach position.
Finally, the board approved the changes to the Support Staff Handbook and the Confidential Support Staff Handbook. They also reviewed Policy G and heard a WASB report from District Administrator, John Gaier.
