Changes to Student Handbook at Neillsville School Board Meeting

-Several changes to the Neillsville School District?s Student Handbook were approved at their board meeting last week.Several items were reworded or changed including items about Facebook, clothing, parent involvement, employment, punishment, tech ed safety and more.
The board also approved the Fund 10 Budget. This budget is only in acted temporarily until the annual meeting later this year. This allows the district to operate under a budget and the temporary amount was set at $10 million.
Finally, during the administrators report, it was mentioned that summer school for this year is off to a good start and they district is interested to see how many students will return for the second half in August.
Also, both the elementary and high school are working on the master schedule and hiring new teachers.
