Several Resolutions Passed at Clark County Board of Supervisors Meeting

Friday, June 21st, 2013 -- 7:27 AM

-Several resolutions were passed at the Clark County Board of Supervisors Meeting on Tuesday.

The board approved the reappointment of David Newman to the Planning and Zoning Board of Adjustments.

They also passed a resolution approving the sale of county forest land and removing it from county forest crop law. The land is being used by landowner Barb Frahm. The board decided to sell the land to Frahm for $1,120 plus survey costs and recording fees. The revenue from the sale will be put into the Assigned Land Acquisition Account.

The board of supervisors also approved rescinding a resolution passed at a previous meeting. This previous resolution stated that James and Deborah Barr wanted to purchase a small portion of county land. The county agreed to it and decided to sell them the property for $500 plus recording fees by way of quit claim deed.

However, the two individuals bought an adjacent lot for $750 so the previous resolution was no longer needed and will be conveyed into the price of the adjacent lot. The two individuals will be responsible for any recording fees.
