Greenwood School District Prepares for Next School Year at Board Meeting

-The Greenwood School District prepared for the next school year at the school board meeting on Monday.The resignations of Rick Dobbs, as principal and athletic director, Dean Lindner, as assistant football coach, and Linda Turnquist, as elementary music teacher, were all approved.
Larry Klabon as a volunteer was approved and so was a family medical leave request and Mrs. Lamont?s request to attend the Dorian Festival.
The employee recruitment and hiring policy was reviewed and the board approved the first reading of the animals in school policy.
The board approved some capital purchases including a carpet cleaning machine so they know longer need to bid out the work. The contract for the web page was approved for the upcoming school year.
