Odds and Ends from Recent Neillsville City Council Meeting

-An update was given on the Christie property at the recent Neillsville City Council Meeting.The order has signed to the receiver and the individual wants to start the work immediately. The building must be up to code by the 1st of November and the money for the repairs will come out of Neillsville?s urban development fund. Any interested parties wanting to buy the building must talk with the owners.
Also, the Clark County Taxi service is doing well. So much so, that a 2nd taxi may be needed to cover the area. Neillsville wants to talk with the City of Stanley about adding a 2nd taxi.
Some other odds and ends from the meeting include two Neillsville officers attending a radar training school and the Neillsville Police Department has their new squad car.
A weeding schedule was set for the beautification committee, a lengthy discussion on Heritage days and new playground equipment for the Listeman Park.
