Public Works Report at Recent Neillsville City Council Meeting

-A public works report was given at the recent Neillsville City Council Meeting.The department has been doing the usual amount of work that needs to be done in a city. That includes mowing, cleaning branches, equipment maintenance, cleaning, patching pot holes and more.
The department has also had to clean grass from storm drains. The department has asked residents of Neillsville to not blow grass onto the street when they mow their yards, since it clogs the drains and causes problems during a rain storm.
The department has also done some street, curb, and sidewalk repair. The department hauled some brush and branches as well, but if you trim your trees or bushes in your yard, you must haul that yourself.
Some nuisance violations were sent out by the department and they've had to post ?No Trespassing? signs on their sand and shale piles as people were taking too much.
