Clark County Emergency Management Director Makes Appearance at Neillsville City Council Meeting

-Clark County Emergency Management Director John Ross made an appearance at Tuesday?s Neillsville City Council Meeting.Mayor Steve Mabie asked John to make an appearance and explain to the common council on the services Emergency Management provides.
John described his position as a ?link? connecting our county with state and federal officials that can offer the help and assistance needed depending on the incident. John said, ?We make a plan for what could happen.?
John also talked about the storm shelters that were recently built in several communities including Neillsville, Greenwood and Loyal. This was done with federal grant money that the department applied for.
John also believes in reaching out to the public and strongly encourages everyone to be prepared and have a plan for emergencies.
