Marshfield Deals with "Drano Bombs"

-Emergency crews in Marshfield have responded to several small explosions this past week caused by ?Drano Bombs.??Drano Bombs? are created by mixing drain cleaner with aluminum foil. The chemical reaction causes the bottle to explode, spewing a very acidic mixture everywhere. The resulting explosion can be as large as 50 feet.
No one has been hurt by one of these devices yet, but officials in the city are worried that it will happen saying that most people don?t understand how dangerous ?Drano Bombs? are. One bomb was recently discovered in a residential neighborhood with kids and a park not far away.
These explosives are a bomb, plain and simple, and it is a felony to make an explosive device.
Police in Marshfield are now actively investigating who is behind these bombs.
