Several Teachers Hired at Granton School Board Meeting

-Several teachers were hired during the Granton School Board meeting on Monday.Rachel Kroeplien was hired as the Agriculture Intern for the 2013-2014 school year. Adam Holberg was hired as the Business Education teacher for next year as well. Finally, Nate Johnson was hired as the Special Education teacher and James Hill was hired as a Middle and High School Social Studies teacher.
The board did accept a resignation during this meeting as well. Jessica Trawicki has resigned as the 3rd grade teacher at Granton.
Changes to School Board Policy B and C were approved as well as changes to the school calendar and the school day.
The summer band contract for James Voss was approved and the board reviewed the staff handbook.
The final items discussed and reviewed by the Granton School Board include health insurance proposals, staff negotiations, the 2012-2013 budget, the 2013-2014 budget and administrative contracts.
