La Crosse Man to Reach Plea Deal Regarding the Death of a Loyal Woman

-A La Crosse man has reached a plea deal to avoid a jury trial regarding the death of a Loyal woman.In February of 2012, Paige Delo, age 22 of Loyal, was killed when a vehicle, driven by Tyler Deal age 22 of La Crosse, spun out of control and hit a utility pole on the passenger side. The incident occurred around 3:30am on February 26th south of Spencer. Delo died at the scene and Deal had to be treated for severe injuries.
Drugs and drug paraphernalia were found in the vehicle after the accident. Initially, Deal only had two misdemeanor drug charges filed against him, but in August of last year, the prosecutors added the felony homicide charges.
Deal has four felony charges regarding homicide by use of a vehicle and two misdemeanor possession charges filed against him.
Deal is currently free on bond, but he?ll return to court in mid-July.
