UPDATE: Two People Hurt in Car vs. Train Accident in Wood County

-Two people were seriously hurt in Wood County when a train hit their car on Saturday night.The crash occurred on Wisconsin 80 near Dexterville.
According to the authorities, the car was traveling north on 80 and they failed to yield to the flashing red lights at a railroad crossing. The train then struck the vehicle. The driver was trapped inside the vehicle and needed to be extracted by the Pittsville Fire Department.
The individuals inside the car were Donald Landis, age 31 of Rhinelander, and Mitchell Landis, age 18 of Viroqua. They were airlifted to Ministry St. Joseph?s Hospital in Marshfield and Donald is currently in critical condition while Mitchell is in critical, but stable condition.
