Market experience.Farmers? markets are a great place to purchase healthy, fresh, locally grown produce while providing an enjoyable place to visit with friends and neighbors. While each market is unique, there is always a need for more vendors and buyers.
Initial start dates may vary, but WIC and Senior Citizen Farmers Market vouchers will be available after June 1st.
Here in Neillsville the market is located in the Sniteman Town Square at the corner of Hewitt & 5th Street. It?s on Saturdays from 8am to 12pm and the manager is the Neillsville Chamber.
In Loyal, the market is in the parking lot across from the VFW Hall on Union Street and it's open on Tuesdays from 2pm to 6pm. The manager is Kathy Weber.
In Greenwood, the market is located east of the Cenex Station at 203 E. Schofield Ave. It?s open on Wednesdays from 2pm to 6pm and the manager is Loni Klinke.
In Owen, the market is located in the Old School at 112 W. 3rd Street. Its open Saturdays from 8am to 12pm and the manager is Rick Cole.
In Thorp, the market is located in the Forward Financial Bank Parking lot on 105 S. Washington Street. It?s open Wednesdays from 12pm to 5pm and the manager is Randy Reeg.
Finally, in Abbotsford, the market is located in the Lamont lot at the 13-Business 29 intersection. It?s open Tuesdays from 2:30pm to 5:30pm and the manager is Shelly Senoraske.
