Appearances Kick off Recent Neillsville City Council Meeting

-A few appearances kicked off the Neillsville City Council meeting on Tuesday.Amy Jahnke, former CNRED agent for Clark County, talked about a grant Clark County has received. The grant has been named the Road Map to a Healthier Clark County and is part of the county?s Eat Right, Be Fit Coalition.
The Eat Right, Be Fit Initiative focuses on trying to have better nutrition, health, exercise and an overall better lifestyle for Clark County.
This grant will allow the county to receive up to $160,000 to use over 26 months.
The reason Amy brought this before the common council was to let them know that they will be hearing more about this since the Eat Right, Be Fit Coalition was included in the city?s comprehensive plan and that allows them to receive grants.
Also, a final appearance at the meeting involved a Neillsville resident wondering about other options for individuals to catch city meetings over the city?s TV channel as some providers have the channel and others don?t.
