Scuba Diver Died in Jackson County

-A scuba diver died Monday after she went missing in Lake Wazee in Jackson County, according to the sheriff's department.Deborah L. Kujbida of Beach Park, Ill., and others were practicing deep-water dives when her friends noticed she was missing about 1 p.m.
Kujbida was eventually pulled from the lake and taken to Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire, according to the Jackson County Sheriff's Office. She died there about 6 p.m.
The sheriff's department is leading the investigation.
The lake is the site of a former mine and is popular with divers because of its depth.
