Several Items Approved at Greenwood School Board Meeting

-Several items were reviewed and approved at the Greenwood School Board Meeting on Monday.The board reviewed changes to the facility use agreement form in the employee handbook. They were made during a policy meeting and the board approved the changes.
Summer projects list was reviewed and the board did not receive any bids at this time for some carpet cleaning that the district needs done.
Student helper, Kyle Karlen, and long term summer substitute custodian, Jana Schmitz, were approved for Summer Custodial Help at the district.
Some changes were made to the 2013-2014 yearbook at Greenwood. Ms. Marleana Rank shared information with the school board members. The board approved the Walsworth contract. This company will provide a middle school and a high school yearbook for Greenwood. The two will no longer be together in one yearbook.
The CVTC Lease Agreement, the CESA 10 Foster Grandparent Program, the Elementary and Secondary Education Agreement Assurances, the Clark County Nursing Agreement and open enrollment was all approved at the meeting.
Finally, the 2013-2014 WIAA Contract for Greenwood was approved. The district has one contract for the middle school program and one contract for the high school program.
The board also had a brief presentation on the 2013-2014 budget.
