Public Works Report at Recent Neillsville City Council Meeting

-Dave Flynn, Director of Public Works for Neillsville, gave a report at the recent Neillsville City Council Meeting.The usual amount of cleaning and maintenance was done in the city the past couple weeks.
Two storm drains were replaced in the city recently, one on East Division and one on Center street. The drains were older ones and the concrete pipes were separating. Some storm drains will be flushed as well.
They city also started flushing water mains and violation letters for nuisance problems in individual?s yards have been sent out as well.
A couple other items include the recent horse sale, that took place at the fairgrounds, extended their appreciation to the city.
Two long time committee members were thanked for their service as well. Dee Zimmerman was thanked for her time on the Historic Preservation Committee and Donna Johnson was thanked for her time on the Grants Committee.
