Valued Neillsville City Employee is Staying

-A valued City of Neillsville employee will be staying around after a decision by the City Council on Tuesday.As of April, Ellen Clark, Deputy Clerk-Treasurer for Neillsville, had turned in her resignation which would have taken affect at the end of May.
Ellen, at the time, had accepted a similar position over by Green Bay. This new opportunity would have also allowed her to be closer to her family.
However, after she had time to re-think the situation, Ellen offered a letter to the council, and personnel committee before that, asking them to allow her to stay which the council happily accepted.
The city council wanted it made perfectly clear that money was never an issue in Ellen?s decision to leave or stay. A new position is being created at city hall which will help relieve some of the burden that has fallen onto the shoulders of the current members of city hall.
