Merill Man Makes Court Appearance for Murder

-A Merill man made an appearance in Lincoln County Circuit Court on Tuesday.Mark Bucki, age 49, has been charged with first-degree intentional homicide, hiding a corpse and strangulation and suffocation.
According to prosecutors, Bucki killed his wife Anita Bucki, who had been missing since the end of April. Her remains were found on Friday of last week and identified on Monday. Prosecutors say that Mark stabbed his wife seven times, tried to strangle her and then hid her body in some woods near Medford.
The motive behind the attack is alleged to be a pending divorce between the couple as they had discussed it before the incident took place.
Mark is currently in prison on a 2 million dollar cash bond and he will appear in court again next week.
