Busy Night for Loyal School Board, Part 1

-The Loyal School Board had a busy night at their recent meeting on Wednesday.The board approved the hiring of Brittany Dix as their new Volleyball Coach for next year. And they also approved the final layoff notices for a Secondary Title 1 teacher, A Sage Kindergarten teacher and Social Studies/Language Arts teacher.
The board approved to co-op with Granton again for their softball season next year and the accepted the donation of a drum to the music department.
The TRG was approved as the official district newspaper for Loyal and BMO Harris was approved as the official district bank.
An out-of-state Senior trip to the Mall of America was approved and an art classes? trip to a Minneapolis Art Museum was approved as well.
The board also talked, at length, about Governor Walker?s proposed school voucher initiative and what it would mean for the Loyal School District.
