National Bike To School Day On Wednesday

National Bike to School Day is this Wednesday, May 8th. Wisconsin students are encouraged to join students from all across the country pedaling to raise awareness about this healthy mode of transportation.Parents and other family members are urged to bike with their children that day to promote safe bicycling habits. The National Center for Safe Routes to School is coordinating the event.
Here in Wisconsin, many communities are involved with the state's Safe Routes to School program. It promotes biking and walking to school when it's safe and convenient. More than 40 events are planned at Wisconsin schools on Wednesday.
