Two Greenwood Teachers Honored

-Two Greenwood teachers were honored for their success on Monday.Mrs. Marixa LaMont, Band and Choir teacher, received the Teacher of Distinction award. This is the second year she has received the honor. Mrs. LaMont does many things to help the students be successful in and out of the classroom.
Jennifer Vogler, District Administrator, said, ?Your love and dedication to the Greenwood students and community is appreciated and is always given the highest respect from our community members. Thank you and Congratulations on your success! It is a privilege to have you as a teacher in the Greenwood School District.?
Also, Mr. Scott Schiller, 6th Grade teacher, received the Crystal Apple Award, usually a once in a lifetime achievement. This is the third year in a row that a Greenwood teacher has won a Crystal Apple Award. Mr. Schiller has a strong passion for teaching and a dedication to excellence. His commitment helps Greenwood?s students learn and excel in life.
Miss Vogler said, ?Your time and dedication to the school district is greatly appreciated by everyone in the school district and community. Mr. Schiller, we are proud of your success and are honored to have you as a teacher in the Greenwood School District.?
