Fire Destroys Rapids Home

-A fire destroyed a home in Wisconsin Rapids Tuesday afternoon.The fire, which occurred just after 5pm, was caused by a charcoal grill. Ash from the grill fell onto the deck of the house starting the fire, it spread to the side of the home, and raced inside throw a window that was destroyed by an explosion.
The high winds on Tuesday fanned the flames which added to the intensity.
The house is a total loss and no one was hurt in the incident.
The Red Cross is assisting the two brothers that lived in the home find temporary housing.
