Recent Greenwood City Council Meeting, Part 1

-The Greenwood City Council appointed members to various positions at their Tuesday meeting last week.The oath of office was given to John Fitzel to start the meeting.
The council then elected officer positions. Lonna Klinke was appointed Clerk/Treasurer, Bruce Sautebin as City Attorney, Bernard Bock as Chief of Police, Trent Johnson as Cemetery Sexton, Russell Dean as Health Officer, and Lonna Klinke as Emergency Government Official.
2013-2014 committees, the banks for the city?s official depositories, and John Fitzl as council president was approved as well.
Police Chief Bock gave a report saying that the winter parking ordinance will stay as written and there was a discussion regarding semi?s parking on city streets and an ordinance will be drafted regarding that issue.
