Auburndale School District Closed Today Due to Bomb Threat

-The Auburndale School District is closed today due to a bomb threat.At 2:30 on Monday, district officials learned about a bomb threat written on a bathroom wall. The threat claimed there would be a bomb at noon today at the high school.
Wood County Sheriff?s Department did a sweep of the building, but nothing was found, but the district did decide to close today just in case.
Unfortunately, this is the second threat the district has experienced in the past few months. At the end of February, a threat was investigated involving a student bringing a gun to the district. The threat proved to be false, but parents had the option to send their children to school the next day.
