Youth Options Approved a Recent Owen-Withee School Board Meeting

-Youth options, a resignation, and more discussed at the recent Owen-Withee School Board Meeting.The board unanimously approved the request by Michaela Faude to take courses at UW-Wood County in Marshfield under the Youth Options program.
With deep regret, the board unanimously approved the request for retirement of Jim Scheuer. Jim is the band teacher at Owen-Withee. The board thanked Jim for his 34 years of dedicated service to the District and they wish him well in his retirement.
Finally, the board set April 17th at 4:30 PM, which was yesterday, as the Special Meeting to reorganize the board. Also on the agenda was the evaluation system for the District Administrator/Principal and the selection of an official District Newspaper.
The board also did not approve any teacher layoffs.
