Contracts Approved at Greenwood School Board Meeting

-The Greenwood School Board approved volunteers and contracts at their Monday Meeting.Lisa Artac and Becky Bogdonovich were approved as volunteers while Linda Schmitt was offered a part time contract as an assistant to the district?s technology coordinator. A Family Medical Leave request: was approved for Mrs. Marixa Lamont as well.
A field trip was approved for the basketball team to go to Wisconsin Dells this summer. Coach Love requested to travel to Wisconsin Dells this summer so some of his boys basketball team members could participate in a basketball event. It will be an overnight trip.
The board discussed OPEB benefits, FMLA, and their facility use policy, updated the Graduation Policy to match their student handbook, and the school board had a second reading and adopted the revised Fund balance policy.
The school board also approved the Elementary and Middle/High School handbook, the youth options requests, a couple capital purchases of AP Psychology books and a new Plasma Cutter, 2013-2014 preliminary teacher contracts, summer school and recreation contracts and a lawn mowing bid by Norm?s Lawn Care.
Finally Mrs. Zimmer reviewed the 2013-2014 budget with the board.
