Officers Elected at Neillsville School Board Meeting

-The Neillsville School Board elected their officers at their Monday meeting.Each board member was re-elected into the position they already held. Dewey Poeschel was elected chairman and president, Sue Voigt was elected vice president, Peggy Grap was elected treasurer, and Deanna Heiman was elected as clerk. Deanna was also voted in as the CESA 10 delegate and Sue was voted in as the WASB delegate with Dewey as the alternate.
The board also approved two out of state field trips. The first was for the 6th grade to go to the Science Museum in St. Paul. The second was for the 7th grade to go to the Festival of Nations, also in St. Paul.
John Gaier, District Administrator for Neillsville, finished off the meeting by mentioning information about the school voucher issue, talked about a survey released in Neillsville, energy management, National Teacher of the Year and two Neillsville students being a part of the local band, ?Urges to Elsewhere.?
