2013-2014 Budget Estimations Begin at Loyal School Board Meeting

-The Loyal School Board began rough estimations of the 2013-2014 school year budget.At this point the budget is a very preliminary estimation of what the Loyal School District can expect for the next year, but so far the district is estimating that their budget will be 270,000 dollars in the negative starting the next school year. The board is starting to talk about a possible referendum.
The Loyal District will not have any make-up days this year, even with the number of snow days the district has used. Loyal added a minute at the end of and beginning of the remaining school days, which will even the district out. However, if they have one more bad weather day, it will need to be made up June 6th.
The board also welcomed Adam Luchterhand, their newest member having won the April 2nd election against Gerald Mrotek.
