Granton School Board Approves Assistant Varsity Baseball Coach

-The Senior trip, an out of state field trip, and more were discussed at the Granton School Board Meeting on Monday.The Spanish Class? out of state field trip to attend the Festival of Nations in St. Paul was approved and so was the second reading of the "School Year Policy", Chapter 9, Section A.
The board approved the hiring of Mr. John Jarecki as middle school and assistant varsity baseball coach for the 2013 season and they reviewed the 2013 Youth Risk Behavior which was recently completed by students of the school district.
Finally, the board approved the Senior Class? request to designate April 24 for the Seniors where they will be traveling to Eau Claire on a field trip and they approved the 2013-2014 school calendar.
A couple items were table at Granton?s meeting and those were the action on renewal of the Alinea Contract for six months and discussion on the 2012-13 and the 2013-14 budgets.
