Granton School Board Welcomes New Member

-The Granton School Board welcomed their newly elected member at their Monday meeting.The official Oath of Office was administered to Dennis Kuehn who won the April 2nd election against Carol Dueholm.
The Advanced Forestry Class presented information to the school board about proposed school forest and Green Team projects for the 2013-14 school year. The board approved the three major projects.
Ms. Kay Heiting, IMC Director of the Granton Community Library, presented information to the board regarding new window coverings for the library. The cost of the treatments was covered by a local donor.
Kay also presented information about some proposed changes to library fine collection. The school board approved the changes and they thanked Kay and her staff for all of their hard work.
