No Make Up Days for Greenwood

-The Greenwood School District decided that they will not have to make up any snow days this year at their recent school board meeting.Greenwood?s school days, the minimal in-service days, and the fact that Greenwood counts parent teacher conferences as ?teacher contract days? but not student contact days are the reasons why the district doesn?t need to make any days up at this time.
The Greenwood district will still end the school year on June 6 with students as planned. However, if they have any more snow days or other inclement weather days and need to make that time up, it will brought to this month?s school board meeting for approval.
The board also approved the Youth Options requests, took final action on teacher reductions, and did not take action on the teacher letters of intent they received.
The letters will be placed on the April board agenda.
