-The Clark County EMSI Analyst data takes a closer look at the Exports and Imports for our region.For 2011, Clark County had almost 2 billion dollars in exports.
The top business industry in exports was manufacturing with almost 900 million dollars, followed by the ag, forestry, fishing, and hunting industry with almost 300 million dollars, with the government in third place with just over 150 million dollars.
Clark County had just over 2 billion dollars in imports this year with 372 million dollars of that locally produced and consumed.
One again, the leading industry regarding imports was manufacturing with close to 450 million dollars, followed by government with close to 350 million dollars, and finally the ag, forestry, fishing, and hunting industry with almost 300 million dollars.
