Car vs. Semi Accident in Wood County

-There was a car vs. semi accident in Wood County on Wednesday afternoon.The accident occurred at the intersection of Hwy 10 and Lincoln Ave in the Town of Cameron.
A semi was traveling eastbound on Hwy 10 when it collided with a car that failed to yield the right of way as it proceeded through the intersection.
The 86 year old female, and driver of the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Wood County Sheriff?s Department, Marshfield Ambulance, Cameron Fire Department, Hewitt Fire Department, and the Wisconsin State Patrol all responded to the scene.
The accident is still under investigation and no names have been released pending notification of the family.
