National Children's Dental Health Month, Final

-February is National Children?s Dental Health Month.Dr. Tom Gelhouse, an experienced dentist with his own practice in Owen, told me about a few initiatives that dentist do to recognize the importance of the month. "A lot times I'll go to the schools and talk with a classroom full of kids. That's always fun. Some countys will do free sealent days too."
Dr. Tom also mentioned a new type of sugar being recognized by the dental community.
During our interview, Dr. Tom also mentioned many other things including the mission work he does in South America as well as several other important things for teeth like fluoride and the effects of sugary sodas on teeth.
