Trial for Men Involved in Marshfield Woman's Death

-Two Marshfield men will be going to trial for allegedly causing the death of a 20-year-old Marshfield woman.Back in August, police responded to a report of a dead woman in an apartment. Syringes with heroin residue on them were found around the body of Kayla Vanderwyst and an autopsy found she died from a heroin overdose.
An investigation led to the arrest of Justin Drinka, age 22, and Trenton Blume, age 23, for allegedly supplying Vanderwyst with the drugs.
Both men have pleaded not guilty to her death and the charge of 1st degree reckless homicide. They remain in jail on a 10,000 dollar cash bond.
If convicted Drinka faces a maximum of 42 years in prison and Blume faces a maximum of 46 years in prison.
