Name of Victim in Mosinee Fire Released

-The name of the man that perished in the Mosinee trailer park fire has been released.

53-year-old Russell Lukensmeyer, identified by his dental records, died from smoke inhalation according to an autopsy report.

On Sunday evening, the Marathon County Sheriff?s Department, along with Mosinee Fire Department, Kronenwetter Fire Department, Marathon Fire Department, Marathon County Medical Examiner?s Office, Wisconsin Public Service, and the Salvation Army responded to the scene.

The fire had fully engulfed the double wide trailer by the time the department arrived.

The Division of Criminal Investigations State Fire Marshals were called to the scene early Monday morning for assistance with the investigation in confirming point of origin and cause of the fire.

At this time the cause and origin of the fire is undetermined and the investigation is ongoing, but there is no foul play suspected in Lukensmeyer?s death and no indication of anything suspicious at this time.
