Marshfield Man Sentenced for His Part in Clark County Crime Spree

Tuesday, January 8th, 2013 -- 2:43 PM

-A Marshfield man was sentenced in Clark County for his part in a crime spree that spread between Clark and Wood Counties.

Back in February, Ryan Winslow, age 19, took part in a crime spree, along with three other young men, and started several fires and destroyed private property.
The long list of charges filed against Winslow, after he was caught and confessed to the crimes, includes burglary, criminal damage, arson, and many more.

Winslow did plead no contest to two of the six counts filed against him. The other four were dismissed, but read into the record.

Judge Nicholas Brazeau Jr. did find Winslow guilty of count one and two, felonies, arson and burglary.

He received a sentence of 5 years? probation and nine months in jail, but was he given credit for 266 days, meaning he only has four days left to serve. He must also pay over 17,000 dollars in restitution. However, he will be in an agreement to pay that money with the others sentenced and involved in the crime spree.

Winslow cannot have any contact with the others involved in the crime spree as well and he must receive any counseling deemed necessary.

At the end of November, Winslow was sentenced for his crimes in Wood County. He received a similar sentence, minus the jail time.
