Contracts, Resignations, and Evaluations Discussed at Recent Owen-Withee School Board Meeting

-Contracts, resignations, and evaluations were discussed at the recent Owen-Withee School Board Meeting.The Board unanimously approved a 50% contract for Natalie Baher who will provide support to the 4th grade in the areas of reading and mathematics. She will work half-time from 11:30 AM ? 3:30 PM.
The Board unanimously approved the resignation of Deb Ojanpera from the Food Service staff. The Board wished Deb good luck and thanked her for her years of service to the District.
Finally, Bob Houts presented the Board with the evaluation instrument that has been used to evaluate the district administrator the past two years.
The Board had expressed some dissatisfaction with the instrument last year.
The Board voted to form a sub-committee to review the evaluation document and make changes. The revised document will be presented to the Board at their December meeting.
