Baldwin Over Thompson/Duffy Over Kreitlow

-**Please note, that these are the unofficial results based on the votes tallied so far. Some precincts have not reported yet. The numbers could change, however, it?s safe to say that whoever is ahead has won.**

Tommy Thompson has conceded the race to Tammy Baldwin who will be the first openly gay US Senator.

The race started out with a strong lead for Thompson, but as the night drew on, the gap got narrower and narrower. Finally, Thompson called Baldwin to congratulate her on her victory.
Baldwin had 1,528,143 votes or 51%. Thompson had 1,363,317 votes or 46%.

In another important Wisconsin race for our area, Sean Duffy has won the 7th District House of Representatives seat over his challenger Pat Kreitlow.

Duffy received 200,033 votes or 56%. Kreitlow had 155,068 votes or 44%.
