Clark County Votes Republican

-Clark County residents voted against the grain.

It was Republicans across the board with Clark County voters and the 2012 Unofficial Election Results.

Romney won Clark County with 7,394 votes compared to Obama?s 6,173.

Thompson had 6,867 votes while Baldwin received 6,154.

Sean Duffy won in Clark County with 7,817 votes compared to Kreitlow?s 5,706.

For the 68th Assembly Representative, Kathy Bernier had 2,069 votes while Judy Smriga had 1,742.

For the 69th Assembly Representative Scott Suder had over 5,851 votes while Paul Knoff pulled in over 3,633 votes.

One exception to the Republican votes was the 87th District race, which only includes the city of Thorp for Clark County. Elizabeth Riley, the Democratic challenger won with 140 votes to Republican Mary Williams 131.

Another exception was the District Attorney?s race. Lyndsey Boon-Brunette, a democrat, won against Shari Post, a republican with 7,610 to 5,373.

Peggy Walter won the position of Register of Deeds with 6,723 compared to Marcia Ziegler?s 6,472.

And finally, Christina Jensen and Kathy Brueger ran unopposed for County Clerk and County Treasurer. Christina received 11,302 votes and Kathy received 10,801 votes.
