Loyal Has Spoken; We Want Our Post Office

-The City of Loyal has spoken; we want our Post Office to stay.On Monday, October 29th the Post Office held a community meeting to discuss the future of the Loyal Post Office.
The Loyal Post Office is just one of many Post Offices under the Postal Services POST plan, which aims to cut over 500 million dollars in annual costs.
Loyal residents had the opportunity to fill out a survey asking what they wanted to happen with their post offices. The options ranged from fewer window hours to shutting down the office completely.
Loyal citizens found out at the meeting, however, that the office would continue its current service for the next two years at least. No changes will be made.
Other local post offices facing the same uncertain future include Spencer, Unity, Willard, Chili, and Granton.
