- Competed in 1st competition in August of 2004 places 7th
- Won 6 North American Strongman Competitions from 2005-2006
- Carl qualified to go to 2006 N.A.S., Inc. Nationals
- On October 21, 2006 in Louisville, Kentucky Carl took 1st place in
his weight class and 1st place overall in the heavy weight division.
This was Carl's 1st attempt at Nationals, qualifying him for his pro card.
