Marshfield Man Arrested for Drug Charges After Walking into Traffic

A Marshfield man was arrested for drug charges after walking into traffic.

According to a report from the Marshfield Police Department, they received a call of a man walking into traffic, crossing the road several times, almost getting hit by a vehicle, and appearing to be under the influence of drugs in the 700 block of South Central Avenue.

The male was located and identified as a 25-year-old Marshfield male.  The male was arrested for Disorderly Conduct and Bail Jumping. During a search incident to arrest, drug contraband was located.

Charges of Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Disorderly Conduct and Bail Jumping will be requested through the Wood County District Attorney's Office. The man was transported to Marshfield Medical Center for medical clearance and later the Wood County Jail.
