Mosinee Woman Charged with Possession

Thursday, January 11th, 2024 -- 11:01 AM

(Mike Leischner, WSAU) -A Mosinee woman has been charged with possession of various drugs and maintaining a drug trafficking house after a raid turned up hundreds of grams of methamphetamine along with fentanyl and cocaine.

According to Mike Leischner with WSAU, the investigation started when a police informant indicated that Allea Diehl was selling the drugs out of her home, leading to a search of a home located in the Deer Trail Village Mobile Home Park located off County Highway KK between Mosinee and Rib Mountain.

A search of the home turned up 320 grams of meth, ten grams of fentanyl, cocaine, a handgun, and other drugs, but no sign of Diehl. They determined that the 33-year-old had fled Central Wisconsin, and immediately began tracking her cell phone.

She was initially tracked to the Hayward area, but officers were unable to catch up to her there. Then on January 2nd, another phone ping indicated Diehl was back in the Mobile Home Park. Officers secured a warrant and arrested her in one of the units.

Diehl made a court appearance on Wednesday where she informed Judge Rick Cveykus that she intends to hire her own attorney and waived her right to a speedy trial. She remains jailed on a $15,000 cash bond and will return to court for a pretrial conference on January 18th.
